The sous vide (pronounced "soo-veed") technique, the secret of great chefs worldwide for decades, involves cooking food in vacuum-sealed pouches submerged in a precisely-controlled water bath held at a constant temperature.  







The steps to sous vide cooking are simple: season your food, vacuum-seal it, and drop it into the SousVide Supreme water bath at the desired temperature, and walk away to do whatever you need to do while it does the cooking for you!

I have had the Sous Vide Supreme for several years and it is an essential kitchen appliance. Although I am a fairly advanced home cook, I would recommend it for anyone who cooks regardless of their skills. The only requirement is to like well prepared food.

I have been using the SousVide Supreme for several months. I am constantly amazed with the results and just how I did without it. There seems to be no end to its usefulness. The food flavors and textures are unavailable by any other means. I can easily prepare outstanding meals on days that I am away from the house using just a few minutes of final preparation when I return. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys wowing their friends and themselves.

I can't begin to tell you the immense satisfaction of perfectly cooked steaks, chops and roasts, every single time. Two of my friends are professional chefs and they have commented to me that they have these at work. Simply amazing. I've been using mine for about two years now and I also have a competing brand. This oven beats the other one hands down.

I've had this for quite a long time now, and use it often. It keeps a good temperature but I find that when the bath is loaded with more than a few items,then the temperature is not as even within the bath. I wish there was a circulator within it to make sure that the water was really evenly heated -especially for the longer cook times needed for tough meats.
